One of the best colleges in the city.

Like the title says, This is one of the best colleges in the city.

There is no entrance test for this college. The interview was with the principal of the college and was simple. He basically test your communication skills and behaviour.

The course curriculum was the best. I opted Journalism and Psychology. Languages are the minors in this course. This was the best combination as a journalist needs to understand a lot about the person while talking to him.

I have interned with The Times of India as a part of the college curriculum. There was no stipend with this firm. But there is surely a lot to learn here.

A lot of companies approached our college for placements. I dont have an idea about the figures as i dint opt for campus placement. But, i had a session with the placement head and she gave me some pointers on how to attend an interview. Every student has to go through a mock interview and they receive a feedback about their session.

New Horizon College host the biggest cultural fest in the state. We also have various technical fests. Students get to take part in a lot of activities and earn practical knowledge.

The fee was pretty affordable compared to other colleges. They also have installment schemes and discounts of under privileged students. The experience here did complete justice for what i have paid.

I haven't opted for a loan. So, i do not have an idea about it. But, the college has a scholarship program for all the worthy students.

The time i have spent in this college was the best three years of my educational life. The amenities made it much more pleasurable. The labs had all the equipment a student needs to get real-time knowledge.

I did not use the hostel facilities. The food from the college cafeteria was really good. The area was really hygienic.

Our seniors used to visit the college frequently to interact with us and the faculty. They used to share their experiences outside the college and help us in every way possible.

We had class tests every month to assess the student's knowledge on the subject and provide them with necessary help. We also had internal tests a couple of months before the finals to make sure that the student is ready to face it.

Faculty is the main reason to join this college. I had a brief talk with all the lecturers of my course before joining and they are probably the best in their respective subjects.
