the remark about the college is overall good, the college covers every good aspect which a college needs to cover and focus on. the positive remark about the college is the faculty of the college and the college can also focus to improve their excellence in the curriculum which i think is needed to be upgraded.
Course Curriculum Overview
talking about the course curriculum of the program the course very much focuses on the theoretical knowledge of the students, as we are commerce students so the research part is comparatively less at the masters level. curriculum mostly focuses on the learning of framed theories not framing the one.
Placement Experience
the placements of the college is according to me is limited to some companies and those companies visit to the college from time to time and also provide good job oppurtunities and the stipend amount is also fair enough for a fresher. but i didn't chose for the college placements instead I went for the walk in jobs. the college don't provide any sort of internship to the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fees of the program according to me is feasible enough for the masters programs as comparatively it s less from other colleges in the country. the fees for the first year of the course will costs me around 1.5 lacs and same in the second year. so the total fees of the program will costs you around about 3 lacs not more than that.
Campus Life
the college also focus on the development of students through the encouragement of the students towards the extracurricular activities in the college. the labs of the college are well furnished and also equipped with all types of instruments, we play lots of games in the college campus. the college is also very strict towards the ragging of the students which is also a very good thing.
Admission
Management institute of Durgapur is one of the ranked colleges of the city. I opt for the maser of business administration program which is a 2 years integrated course at the campus of the college. the admissions in the program is based on the clearance of the national level entrance examination which is CAT, the rankings of CAT or MAT are considered for the admissions.
Faculty
Any faculty of the college whether related to the course or not are very helpful and kind towards the students, this i am telling you because once i got a query and the concerned faculty is not available at that moment in the college so i ask another faculty who teaches same subject to other program students and they helped me well without even hesitating. so in terms of faculty and their teaching interest i would like to rank the college 10/10.
