Apart from the non presence of the placement authorities, our college has almost every facility for the students. The main advantage of our college is the availability of education for the economically backward category of students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The environment at the college is very good. The practicals are also very easily understandable which makes our college life enjoyable on all terms. The syllabus of the course is divided thoroughly for the easy understanding of the students. Out of the 250 marks in each semester, there are 5 papers of 50 marks each. In each paper, internal and end-semester examinations are held separately for convenience.
Placement Experience
Placements are not very high in our college but our college tends to provide with best academic knowledge to all of the students. There is a scope of getting a high-paying job in the future if you pass the course with high academic excellence.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is highly affordable at our college. You can easily pay off the fee without any financial problems. The fee is around 13000 for all over the MA program. The fee for the first year is just around 8000 rupees which is a very affordable option as compared to other colleges.
Campus Life
Our college is always engaged in some or other social events. Some regular events of our college include- Orientation Programme for the First Year Students in the Postgraduate Course, International Women’s Day, International Mother Language Day, Vanamahotsava – The Afforestation Ceremony, Independence Day, Republic Day and many others.
Hostel Facilities
There is a good hostel facility for all of the students at our college. Also, preference is given to the ones who live far away from the college. Hostel of the college includes many facilities such as- Drinking water, Subsidized food, Hygienic ambiance, Computers, WiFi networks and also Reading Room. Apart from the on-campus hostels, outside hostel facilities are also present for the students.
Admission
I had to first apply for the MA course online through the official website of the university. After I applied to the university, my name appeared in the college cut off list because my marks in BA was quite average. I then visited the college for further process.
Faculty
Our teachers have a wide knowledge of the subjects that they are teaching. The presence of the teachers at the college helps us to focus on our studies. There are almost no leaves or absences of teachers in the lectures. The faculty is always ready to help us.
