The College has produced many stalwarts of Doctors, Advocates,Chareterd Accountants, Company Secretaries, Accounts Officers, Administrators and scholars like lecturers and research professionals. No adverse comments at all. Its is peasure to five encomium to our college for the excellent productions of many scholars.

Course Curriculum Overview
Elective subject was Accountancy / Book Keeping / Commerce containing company law and Industrial laws, besides Auditing, draftingHindi as third language, Tamil as Second Language, First Language being English
Placement Experience
At that Time No placement. I wrote Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and successfully selected for the post of Commercial Accountant in State Government. After passing departmental Examinations, I became Junior Accounts Officer in Treasuries & Accounts Service. After serving for 30 years, I retired as Deputy Secretary to Government in 1991
College Events
National Cadet Corps Active member for 3 years. Then served as Home Guard in Police Department for 3 years. Took part in Mylapore Cultural Academy and the taught Accountancy in the Institute of Public Relations and Management, Madras 4 for two years as part time faculty.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In those days fees were very below and nominal. Mt total payments of fees paid for my B Com course of 3 years were only Rs. 2500 only.Colleges never collected any capitation Fees. Only Excursion fees and sport fees of Rs. 250 / 300 were paid.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes. Scholarship under 92 Madras Educational Rules were offered to students of low income group with no reservation for any community. Every one were treated as one and scholarship was made available to each one of them.
Campus Life
Gender ratios were 60 : 40 Hostel parties were divided into two one each for Boys and Girls. Cultural activities were conducted every year with much enthusiasm and every one participated with full interest and moved close to each other.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels were provided for Boys and Girls with separate hostels for each Students at Hostels were moving as friends and there was no room for any complaints of eve teasing at that time.
Alumni/Alumna
All alumni met during 2009 after 50 years and made the meet each other at a function organized by the college at Mylapore, Chennai-4 and exchanged our pleasantries. We shared our well being and place of work, experience we gained in our working status.
Exam Structure
Exams were conducted ensuring best and strict vigilance during the time of conducting exams. All students were very much disciplined and success rate was highly appreciable.
Faculty
Mr. V.A. Rama Chandra Iyar was the Principal ans Mr. A.K. Sita raman was our commerce lecturer, Mr. Meenakshi Sundaram was our Accountancy Lecturer. Strict and Silence was ensured during lecture classes.
