RJ college as its known has good management course, had good support from faculties, has most of the professors from corporate background and has helped in know the market better.
Entrance Preview
I have given CET and have scored 53 out of 100. I was from Second batch of Bachelor in Management Studies which was introduced in 1999. The college option was based on marks you scored in CET.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculam was excellent, more focusing on Management Studies at the last year you have option to select, Finance, Marketing as your major subject of specilization.
Internships Opportunities
ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Small Scale Industries visited our institute and hired students in second year as management Trainee and stipend ranged from INR 1500/- to INR 2000.
Placement Experience
There was no placement support by the Institute, even after passing out of the course, it was bit difficult to get a job as the course was not well recognized in the market.
College Events
"Ksitij" a Inter college festival where BMS students from different colleges visited and participated in group discussion, presentation and Business Quiz contest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was INR 12000/- in the initial year and INR 15000/- for balance 2 years. Extra was charged for providing books and industrial visits. There was a scholarship scheme where in the student can apply based on his performance.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any loan facility but there is a good scholarship where the education for good performing students can avail.
Campus Life
The campus life was good, however our college timing were during afternoon and most of the lab facilities couldnt be availed as they close by afternoon.
Hostel Facilities
There was no hostel facilities the canteen food was not upto the mark as they were serving only normal snacks and no lunch.
Alumni/Alumna
The interaction of network and senior students were really good, they share their experience and knowledge and also helped in doing our final year projects.
Exam Structure
The exams constitute of 50% written exams and 25% Group Discussion and 25% Presentation on a particular subject assigned by the faculty.
Faculty
The faculty of my college was excellent as most of them where visiting faculty from Industrial field the faculty also helped and given experience in doing project works.
