Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was designed in order to provide a deep understanding of advanced Finance and Accounting. The course structure was in line with the bharathidasan University standards. Separate minimum passing marks is prescribed for Internal and External. A candidate should pass in each course if he / she secures not less than 40 % marks out of 75 marks in the University Examination (UE) and 40% out of 25 marks in the Internal Assessment. (CIA)
Placement Experience
Placements mainly depend on the student’s performance. If you don’t do well in academics you might face challenges in the placement process, as many of our seniors are unemployed as such. So do take this point into consideration. Companies like Wipro,TCS, Infosys visit the college for the placement process.
Fee Structure And Facilities
B.com program is a three-year program and the fee is affordable, even for students from the lower-income groups.fee structure is feasible. It helps students from challenging backgrounds entertain their dream of higher education, which won’t have been possible otherwise
Campus Life
Sports day, College day, annual day, workshops, Hostel day, Culturals are usual thing happening every year. Apart from that, many events will be held, Pongal fest will be celebrated very well. The main attraction is the freshers and farewell parties, organized by seniors and juniors, respectively and many other events.
Admission
I did my b.com from Kongu College of arts and science. Admission to a B.com program doesn’t require any entrance exam. I got admission to graduation on the basis of my class 12 marks. After presenting the relevant documents, I was granted admission to the college. You can apply via online mode or offline mode with the required information.
Faculty
The faculty was exceptionally well. All the professors either had a doctorate or has excelled remarkably in their niche. All the faculty members had a plethora of experience in the teaching domain. The professors were updated with the latest advancements in their respective fields. They will keep sharing their personal insights with us during the lectures and used to initiate conversations regarding the practical implication of our learning.
