Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum of MBBS is well managed by the college and is regulated by MCI. This course is divided into 9 semester in 4.5 year duration and 1 year internship. In mbbs We have both medicine, medical and surgery subjects.

Placement Experience

4

As we have studying through government quota in this college most of them get recruited in government hospitals. We have various exams after this. Most of the students go for higher studies to get specialization degrees. We have 1 year compulsory internship in the hospital.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee of the course is around 20000-25000 rupees per year. This is tution fee and deposit during admission. Whereas there are different fee, book expenses and various other expenses which are charged extra. The fee is feasible to all students. The fee is regulated by government so it is less.

Campus Life

4

There are various extra curricular activities like seminars, workshop, projects, lecture series etc. But we have very few cultural events and other activities related to them. We have study oriented events more. Gender ratio of girls is more than boys.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls separately. Hostel facilities are good, they have good infrastructure. We have shared rooms, study rooms, TV, drinking water facilities, computer room, etc. Good hygienic food is provided to all students of hostel.

Admission

I got admission in MBBS course in this college through NEET entrance examination. I had applied for NEET exam to take admission in MBBS, to apply for NEET Examination one should have studied physics, chemistry and biology in their 12th class.

Faculty

4

We have very good faculties which are well experienced in teaching the course and have vast experience in medical Fields. They all holds doctors and various specialisation degrees. Faculties hold various educational background which are helpful to us. They are well experienced in both teaching theory and practicals.

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
