My first year at NMIMS Indore has been excellent and has given me a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The college management is good and is working very hard to make our environment comfortable.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is chosen i.e. MBA(Tech.) is excellent. The college supports project works but 80% attendance is compulsory. The curriculum is designed according to the requirements in industries. During this year there were 2 industrial visits which were very knowledgeable. The conduction of exams is very strict and all the answer copies are sent to Mumbai campus for checking.
Placement Experience
Since no batch has passed from this campus I can't say much about placements but the placements from the management department are very good till now. There are compulsory internship programs during summer break after 3rd and 4th year. And you can also opt for internships after 1st and 2nd year according to your wish. Our seniors had a great experience during internship program.
College Events
This academic year we conducted many technical and non-technical events including Hackathon, Students' Conference, Tedx meet, Zenith diplomate summit, Alpharun and Invictus 2.0, most of them had participants from across the city. We also conduct a college fest every year, but it was cancelled this year due to corona outbreak.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Though the fees are pretty expensive but Keeping in mind all the facilities provided I would rather say that the fees are feasible. The method for payment accepted is RTGS AND Demand Draft. In order to secure the admission, the fees must be submitted during admission call.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt and scholarship or education loan. And the college does offer any scholarship program but helps in availing education loan.
Campus Life
Yes, there are many extracurricular activities which helps in developing personality. There are many societies like MUN and debate society. Musical instruments are provided by the college. We are provided with sports facilities including a pool table, TT table, cricket and football equipment, and many more. There are many clubs like ICARUS, Alphalete, Turing, literature club, Marketing and PR.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful throughout the course. They provide us with the insight of college, helps us to survive and perform well in college and much more. They help us in every way possible. There is no raging in any way possible. And because of them, we all are in a very safe environment.
Admission
I got admission through NPAT on a rank basis. There was no interview for admission. This university has its own reputation and have great tie-ups with University globally. They have a well organised and very efficient channel for admission process.
Faculty
The faculty members are well qualified. They are very helpful and supportive. They give proper attention to every student which helps to clear all our doubts. The performance of our faculty is consistent and better than many colleges. On a scale of 1-10, I would categorize them at 8-9. We also have professors who used to teach abroad.
