Remarks
Good infrastructure, great surroundings, supportive staff and faculty members and also suitable atmosphere perfect for studying and learning. No negative remarks as such but only it would be better if the college comes up with the facility of providing hostels to the students .
Course Curriculum Overview
Masters of Pharmacy is for consecutive two years and involves a more in-depth knowledge of all the things that one has learned about in Bachelor course.It is different from the American Pharmaceutical Diploma, Doctor of Pharmacy,(PharmD) - which takes six years to complete.
Placement Experience
University provides two options to the students - one is to search for internships and job opportunities ourselves or depend on the college. After the completion of third year, it's mandatory to provide internships and therefore Saifee, Umang pharmaceuticals etc provide internships. Also, companies such as TCS, Cipla, Nestle etc comes for placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Bachelor and Master course are different and therefore, the fee structure is also different. The cost for Bachelor course which is for four years, is Rs.1,35,000/- per year and the cost for Master degree course is Rs.1,27,000/- per year,that is for two years. For me, it's a minimum fee structure and I don't find it expensive at all.
Campus Life
There are sufficient laboratories in our college which is neither that good nor too bad. Outdoor game facilities are available which include games such as Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton etc. But indoor game facility isn't available.
Hostel Facilities
Our college doesn't provide the facility of hostels to its students. The college suggests nearby pgs and hostels or flats for its students to stay who come from far away to study. I stay near to my hostel, so I didn't have to any pg or hostel or flat to stay.
Alumni/Alumna
The ex students of our college constitutes the alumni of our college which in turn help the current students to know about the different sectors of Pharmacy. On the other hand, seniors are helpful very much and try their best to keep juniors involved in activities.
Admission
My admission in this college for the master degree course was purely based upon the marks I scored in Bachelor of Pharmacy for four years. For Bachelor of Pharmacy, marks scored in 10+2 examination is taken into consideration. I had this keen interest towards medicine, for which I felt the need to making it my career.
Faculty
Masters is an extra upgraded level of graduation which requires skilled and trained professionals to teach the course. Therefore, all the faculty members of our college, hold a degree eligible enough to teach the Masters course and showers incredible support to the fellow students.
