Course Curriculum Overview
Civil engineering at (GSIT) follows semester system and has a duration of 4 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on a lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.
Placement Experience
The institution aims at Value based higher education. There is the department of placement. GSIT provides with great opportunities to its students. There are internships for the students to grow. They also provide with jobs and placements. Many firms like wipro,HCL etc come and recruit the students. Many students take part in the placement programme.

The fee structure of GSIT for civil engineering is around 2 lakh 70 thousand which is quite feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.
Campus Life
GSIT is very good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and so on. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fêtes in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.
Admission
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks with PCM are eligible for admission. The students will have to give the entrance exam KCET or COMEDK UGET for the admission and based on their merit they will be selected for the institution.
Faculty
The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.
