The course for Full-Time students shall extend over a period of Two academic years consisting of Four Semesters. Each academic year shall be divided into Two Semesters. The First academic year shall comprise the First & Second Semesters, the Second academic year the Third & Fourth Semesters. The duration of each semester will be about 16 weeks. The subjects of study shall be in accordance with the syllabus prescribed from time to time by the University of Madras.

The Institute has an active students’ placement programme. Through its placement cell, it provides direction and support to students who are eligible for placements.Some of the past recruiters are Times of India Group, HDFC, LIC, etc.

The tuition fee for the first year and the second year is Rs.35,000/-. The first semester exam fee is Rs.3,000/-. The caution deposit which is refundable is Rs.5,000/-. Boarding is taken in advance which is Rs.68,400 for each year(Vegetarian).

NICM organizes events of sports and games throughout the year.SPOGA is normally held in the month of February of every year.CULFEST is organized every year in our Institute to enhance the various cultural activities by the students.M GALA festive is organized by the Institute where as management game is being conducted for the students.Sports events include football, Volleyball, throwball etc., for male and female students.

Candidates shall be required to have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of the University of Madras or of any other University or a qualification accepted by the Syndicate of this University as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for admission to MBA Degree Course.

Coming to the faculty members - the faculty department has four teachers namely - Dr R Ganesan, Dr.M Raman, Shri.I Venkatesh and Shri P Raja Balachandran. Out of them, two has completed Ph.D a d are excellent in teaching.
