Course Curriculum Overview
The course covers curriculum based on Anna University. The course is split into eight semesters with different subjects for each semester. Exams are conducted every semester and the scores are consolidated in the final semester.
Placement Experience
The college has in campus interview for students in the final year. Many companies come to conduct interview and select students. Students are also given training on appearing for interviews and basic soft skills.
College Events
College celebrates all festivals and national events such as independence day and republic day. There is also an orientation program for all the first year students at the start of the college.Graduation day is celebrated for final year students too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since this is a government college, the fees collected is very less compared to private engineering colleges. The fee is 10,000 per semester and the overall fee comes around to 50000. the fee covers access to library, laboratory and industrial visits.
Fees and Financial Aid
For students who are in the BC/MBC category, if they are first generation graduates, a scholarship is offered. There is also a Chief minister award for SC/ST students who have scored good marks in 12th Std.
Campus Life
The college has some sports facilities for students. There is also NCC and NSS that organizes various social awareness activities and blood donation camp for the students. Road Safety awareness and hygiene awareness programs are also conducted.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is available for both girls and boys with two students in a single room. The college mess or canteen provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food to the students based on their preference. The boys hostel is outside the campus and girls hostel is inside.
Admission
After completing my 12th exams I wrote TNEA. Based on my cut off marks and course I wanted, this college was assigned for me at the counselling conducted by TN state government. Since it was close to my hometown I took admission here.
Faculty
Our college has experienced and dedicated faculty. They take special interest in ensuring that the students understand the concepts of each and every subject. They also conduct internal assessments to test the students knowledge.
