Entrance preview

The course structure is pretty simple. There are mid-exam class tests. And seminar presentation to develop our confidence level. And at last the end semester exam. It's not hectic since it's well organized.

Placements are sort of okayish. Our seniors are getting placements but most of them prefer for higher studies since just graduation degree now a days holds hardly any value. So most of the students proceed with research work or masters degree.

The fee structure of the college is extremely affordable and feasible, I feel. It's very economical. The fees are Rs 10,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 30,000 on a total for a period of three years which is not very expensive.

The College encourages its students to take part in the sports activities. Students are trained under the guidance of qualified Physical Education Trainer & have achieved excellence in University and National level in sports activities.

At present, Assam Women's University has a fully operational hostel with 24x7 running water, electricity and other basic amenities. Each room is shared between two or three boarders. The rooms are well ventilated and adequately furnished with provisions for individual cupboards, tables, chair and bed. Moreover, the rooms have attached bathrooms and balcony overseeing lush green fields. The mess is centrally located and provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. It offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. The hostel premises also have a badminton court. Overall, the hostel offers homely environment.

No entrance is conducted. I was admitted in this college on the basis of my percentage in the CBSE exam. So I didn't have to prepare for any sort of entrance exam. I scored a decent of 84% and could manage to get admission in the college.

The faculty members are really good. Apart from being our teachers they are out mentors too. They help us in every sphere be it studies or some personal problems. They are really focussed which helps us alot.
