Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is in line with the Medical Council of India's defined guidelines and syllabus for the MBBS course in India. Exams are held in a year wise manner with in between tests and evaluations. Clinical work is an important element of the course where by on hand practical skills are imparted and evaluated.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are good in our college. Since it is a government College one gets good opportunity to serve in the medical establishment under the Uttar Pradesh government. The college also offers internship that is experience of serving the patients in a real time environment under the supervision of senior doctor either in its own hospital or any other related government hospital.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a government Medical College the fee is not very much high like the private colleges which charge huge amounts. The fee for the entire course duration is around 90,000 to 1 lakh. At the time of admission I submitted around 36, 000 which included the tuition fee and other charges. In the subsequent years the fee is around 25,000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Uttar Pradesh State government extends the scholarship to students who are the domicile of the state and belong from the reserved categories, economically backward section of the society, or are from below poverty line background. Similarly the central government also offers scholarship through its national scholarship program. apart from that educational loans are offered by banks that is the private or public sector bank.
Campus Life
There is nothing much in terms of extra curricular activities as it is a medical college cum hospital. However, events like Republic Day and Independence Day are celebrated. infrastructure wise it is a sound college and has all the necessities as defined by the Medical Council of India for a Medical College cum hospital.
Admission
I appeared for the NEET UG exam got a decent score in it. I sat for the NEET counselling and got a seat in this college in the later rounds of counselling. I also give the AIIMS entrance exam however I could not get enough marks to get AIIMS Delhi I settled for this college. Post counselling I was called for completion of admission formalities after which I was granted the admission.
Faculty
Since our college is is a Medical institute cum hospital many of our teachers are practicing doctors and surgeons. They have vast experience in the domain of medical science. They use this experience to help us that is the budding doctors to understand the applicability and practical part of the profession. They make sure that we grasp the basics of each subject and do not go for memorizing. They are supportive and helpful as well.
