Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelors in Commerce is a three-year course divided into six semesters. The course curriculum involves commerce, economics, banking , finance and management. The exams were held at proper intervals without being hectic.

Placement Experience

We have an excellent placement cell in our college. Our college offers a special 1 year certificate course that trains the students for facing and cracking the interviews with essential skills. Encompass, Showtime, Edumedia are some of the companies that visit our college for recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the B.Com course is 3,00,000 for each year which makes the total fee 9,00,000 for the whole course. The fee is expensive but the quality of the education and the experiences we gain along with the amenities is worth the price.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship program conducted by our college that can be availed by the 12th grade students. They have to fill out an application, write a test and then the students will be shortlisted. Out of which the candidates for scholarship are selected through interviews. The college provides up to 100% scholarship.

Campus Life

Our college has spacious campus and sports facilities. We also have inter school/college competitions and events hosted by our college. Various workshops and seminars are conducted along with company trips.

Admission

I filled an online application form and submitted it with the scanned copies of the required certificates. The college contacted me and I had to write a Creativity and Aptitude Evaluation test. After clearing the test I was called for an interview and granted admission in the college.

Faculty

The faculty of our college are qualified and experienced individuals who are very supportive with us. They not only teach us the curriculum but also train us for future situations and jobs. They help us with creative projects and assignments.

Even from 1th sem we are eligible for placement and there aee many companies like infosis etc. And average package is about 5lpa the percentage of students getting placed is around like 60-85%. My plans after degree is to open some business

Harsh reality of a college student

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college promises for big companies but there very few companies came with not a satisfactory salary package.As it only offers with an average salary or 350000. And they do not tell how to present ourself for placement interview.

Placement Experience:

5 th semester students are eligible for the placements. And in the 3 rd and 4 th semester our college conducts some placement related activities,by those we were able to crack placements in the top companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys etc.Most of the students are placed in campus only.

Students because eligible for the campus placements from final year that is 5-6 semester. The companies visited college for placements are EY, Deloitte, ADP, Sutherland, Accenture, sagility, JP Morgan organ, Genpact ect. Companies minimise package offered to the students is 2LPA and maximum about 5-6LPAm. The students getting placements is above 65% but placements are given on the basis on everything including the performance in interview process etc. Some Students are planning do there higher education in states and other are planning to to jobs .

I chose Bcom Honours to get ready for the future employment and training .I spoke to a career counselor who advised this course to me The curriculum prepares me very well as it contains every part of management which is done in employment. The teaching method can be changed alot ,but the course curriculum can be made more practical as similar to the workplace. The timing and frequency of exams is good ,every semester exam comes in 4-6 months
