Best management i have seen in the college, very clean college and also very clean environment and also canteen is well maintained

No entrance exam for this course. You just need to qualify 12th pass or HSC pass with certain percentage according to the college cut-offs and i got admission

Course Curriculum Overview

It is very nice course all about software development and also we are learning general components subjects such as french, innovations in science etc in all semesters

We got to know that we will get intern from Nescom, i don't know about the other companies also we are just student now so we didn't got any internship yet

We don't know anything about this as still we are juniors we are in 1st year. I am not much known for this placements we will get to know about this after sometime i think so

Technical events, Traditional day, cultural day, Malhar a very well know event of St. Xavier's College, and there are many more events celebrated in our college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for this course is very reasonable as it is new course by UGC, total fees for a year is around 6,500 rupees i think so that is fair enough as we can see if we study any IT course the fees is much high for a year.

I don't know any loans/scholarship provided from our college sorry for this and even i didn't even heard about this

Campus Life

Gender ratios we don't even see gender ratios in our college, i don't stay in hostel so don't know about hostel parties, we have a gymkhana we play internal games there and also we have basketball court in our college people play basketball football over there.

Hostel Facilities

As i don't stay in our college hostels but we have a college hostel which is known as St. Xavier's hostel which is located inside college the hostel is good as per rentals and services provided and also about food we have a good canteen from which we get every thing.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

I had never any interaction to my seniors but still they introduced to us as seniors of us they actually good they help us in our studies and notes and we can ask any help from them.

Exam Structure

We have two internals in each semester and we have 4 practicals each week which we have to attend in the labs

Best faculty i have seen, every professor have individual knowledge of that each subject and also very in depth knowledge we learn many things from our professors

Course Curriculum Overview:

In past i have given competitive exam so at that time i was very fustrated so i decide to change my stream so therefore i choose to become an interior designer Because my father have business in the same feild so i thought to extend my father business. This feild teach us how to communicate with the people in the market and conveinced them for your design. And we do have many site visite and market survey for that.this is how this feild prepares us for real -world . This feild is very underrated Because parents think ki our child should be doctor or engineer only.as many people not consider design as an art . the duration of the exam is 15-20days . the paper are easy -moderate level.

A college with the potential, but not the best support

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was great and equipped with knowledge and skills needed . It helped me for my masters in uk as well . But I feel more practical implementation of that knowledge was lacking. Exams where to easy to crack . More emphasis on Pratical part should be given . Exams should be more real problem solving oriented questions to check the knowledge of student on food safety problems in food industry.

The Vibrant Life at St. Xavier's Mumbai

I applied to IIM Indore, St. Xavier's mumbai, TAPMI Manipal and I had given CET exam to apply for colleges in Mumbai. I did not clear the IPMAT exam as I prepared only for 2 months, so I didn't make it to iim indore. St. Xavier's being one of the top colleges in India was my next choice. I also got into TAPMI Manipal but I chose Xavier's over it as the ROI was better. For admission in Xavier's you've to clear the Xavier's Entrance Test (XET) for BMS, BMM and BSC-IT. Post which you'll get a call if your name is in the merit list. Rest of the process is done in the college itself, where you'll be asked to submit your documents and fill out some forms. Campus life at xaviers

I choose Xavier's because the BMS course it offers is one of the best and is very affordable as well , I was comparing Xavier's with christ,nmis etc. the BMS course offered in their college is extremely expensive and not as reputed as Xavier's and the placements that they offers is not good as Xavier's as well,Xavier's also has a good alumini and good word of mouth than these colleges, as for the admission into courses like BMS ,BMM,BSC-IT there is an entrance test called XAT and we have to clearit, the weightage is 60% score form the entrance test 40% from board exam scores and the final round will be an interview after which it is decided if one is selected for the course or not there is a reservation for Christan quota in the college as it is an Jesuits run college...Read More
