Course Curriculum Overview
Course is well structured. Teachers keep monitoring the syllabus and disintegrate it according to the time in hand. My college has signed MOUs with various super speciality hospitals such as - Bhimavaram Hospitals, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. Varma Hospitals, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. Govt Area Hospital, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. Global Hospitals, Hyderabad, Telangana. Citizens Hospitals, Hyderabad, Telangana. Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals, Bangalore, Karnataka. With concerted efforts of the institute and these hospitals students here achieve academic excellence as well as get trained professionally. Other than academics, this college provides students with other valuable skills like lifelong learning, critical thinking, personality development, etc.
Placement Experience
My college trains students for cracking placement interviews through Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) program. This training prepares students to face interviews and provides facility of mock interviews. All of this altogether help students in getting recruited. My seniors got great placements in different Healthcare sectors such as Pfizer, Himalaya Health Care in Bhimavaram, RCM InfoTech-Hyderabad, Vee Technology, Global Data Research-Hyderabad, Laila Nutraceuticals-Vijayawada,TCS - Mumbai, GVK Bio Excelera-Hyderabad, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total fees you'll have to pay to study B. Pharma from SVCP is Rs. 3.2 lakh. Course duration of B. Pharma is of 4 years and per year fees is Rs. 80020/-. Initially I thought that fees is bit high, but after I got the chance to be a part of the college I came to know different things which very well run in the campus with the money we pay as fees. Hence eventually what I paid benefited me.
Campus Life
This college keeps organizing cultural programs to enhance creativity and other skills. Students form teams and manage all events by themselves under the guidance of the faculty. The college also holds a 2 day conference called Pro-Milan which let students gain experience, exposure and growth. Annualday and sports day are important part of educational institutions. Hence our college aur celebrated these 2 days once in every year.
Admission
To get admission in B. Pharma couse of SVCP students must qualify Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) which is conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry or Biology as their major subjects with at least 50% of marks are eligible for the entrance exam.
Faculty
Faculty is highly experienced and intellectual. Every member of the faculty has acquired specialization among different fields of Pharmacy. Pharmaceutical technology, Pharmacognocy, Industrial Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc are some of the fields of which the faculty members have immense knowledge. Apart from the intellectual side, all of them are gentle, kind and always apply humane approach while fulfilling their responsibilities. All of them take keen interest in teaching students.
