Since this is a private university which is only designed to impart law education, it comes with all the amenities and services that students require. So, therefore there isn't any negative side to look upon.
Course Curriculum Overview
L.L.B is an undergraduate course which deals with the making of a person - a lawyer. This course require patience and thorough study and a lawyer is regarded as a legal practitioner. And the duration is for five consecutive years.
Placement Experience
Yes. This university provides job opportunities and placement for it upcoming lawyers who are in the making. There has been a remarkable notice on the previous job opportunities that the seniors received. Most importantly, a placement officer is appointed to work with the RCC and two faculty are there to ensure the smooth running of the RCC and I hope that our batch mates gets the same opportunities.
College Events
Events such as - Call for Papers for Human Rights Law Journal, Kartavya State level video making competition, Call for Contribution for socio-legal androcentrism and gender inequalities, Call for papers for edited volume by centre for Disability law and advocacy etc. takes place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Lawyer course is very expensive no matter wherever you study. However, the fee structure for B.A of L.L.B course is Rs.1,86,000 for the first year; second, third and fourth year is Rs.1,76,000. And the last year fee is also the same. All total, it is amounting to Rs.8,90,000/-.
Fees and Financial Aid
The top 20 rankers of our college can apply for the Aditya Birla Scholarship. Other than that, there isn't any such scholarship available as it is not government oriented and it runs on its won fund. Other than this, there are few scholarships available for the SC/ST students from the government.
Campus Life
A smooth culture is maintained in our university and there are several events held in our college such as NH-65 cultural fest which takes place every alternative year. This involves participation of all the students. And yoga is also taken.
Hostel Facilities
It is a residential university and the best part about the university is that each student is allotted a separate room. Cooler, food, balcony, internet facility, security and everything is provided. The hostel fees are separate which is near about Rs.26,000 per year.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are the brand ambassadors of an educational institution for they act as the backbone of building a big institution. There is a strong positive relationship between the alumni and our university and their support and guidance is very beneficial.
Admission
Candidates who wants to study law, needs to sit for the CLAT (Common Law Aptitude test) held across the country. The selection completely depends on the marks scored in this test. After this, the college form needs to filled up and on the basis of CLAT, students will be shortlisted. And, candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination from a recognized board or equivalent examination.
Faculty
Law teaching requires qualification and great knowledge about the field of law, which our teachers have. The dedication they show towards their work of teaching, makes it beautiful and easy for students to learn.
