A path towards glory.

The bhawanipur educational society college, some say that even the name is enough but our college is very lenient towards the attendance of the students. I love the college, the faculty, the fest and everything else the management is very helpful.

I joined the bhawanipur educational society college right after my high school. I scored 75% and being a pass out from the same school, I got an advantage of getting the admission directly. Bhawanipur is a very famous and renowned college in Kolkata and in fact is known all over India. Apart from regular classes, there is too much fun. Our college takes part in many other fests organised by different colleges all over India and also organizes our own fest named Umang.

Bachelor of commerce is a very easy course, it is about accounts, economics and mathematics there are very few project works, and less exams for this course.

The college is very renowned and the course is about commerce. Account being the main subject under this department helps us to get through a lot of basic work. There are many companies that offer us internship by visiting our campus.

Since I am doing bachelor of commerce, it has now become a basic study thing like high school yet we get a lot of offer for accounting. Firms not only come and offer us internship but also jobs for accounting. Minimum that a person can earn is around ?10,000.

College celebrates many events from republic day to indepence day and from Pujas to Christmas. Apart from these , there are fests called communique and umang. Very well known in other colleges. Its massive and fun a lot of events are held under it from dancing to sudoku.

In the whole course, fees are taken three times first one is to be paid for the 1st year, second time for the 2nd year and so on the whole course fee is less than a lakh. First time we paid 27000 and then 28000 and then 34000.

If the students get more than 90% in their high schools, then they are provided scholarship but I don't know much about this , there are a lot of procedures for this for students who are unable to pay the whole fee for the year are supposed to inform the faculties and then they give the permission to pay partly.

There are a lot of sports activity in college for the college students. There is a common room for both boys and girls both are given equal chances to be a part of it and play equally.

A lot of students come to our college from other parts of West Bengal, Bihar and Assam. So many students come from nepal too the college doesn't provide hostel facilities due to lack of space. But it surely provides proper details of the PG systems near the college which are safe for both boys and girls.

College life are the best life qe didn't need that ragging system to get along with the seniors. Seniors have always been helpful every year the college gives alumni to seniors who passed with first division.

The examinations are held thrice a year and there is one lab exam in the whole year college only takes two internals and there is one external exam which is the university exam our college is known for a non hectic schedule its very chilled out yet very good.

The faculty of the bhawanipur educational society college is really nice. They are all very helping regardless of the individual or work. They help us a lot both academically and in general. They are three sections of the commerce department. The morning section has the best faculty by far but the afternoon and evening section also have good faculty.
