Entrance Preview

I got the admission in the college by scoring 92% in my class XII. This is one of the best college of kolkata located in the heart of the city,elgin road.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college focus equally in the studies along with extra curriculum activities. It was practical labs for science stream and it has a huge library having books of all tha subjects.

Internships Opportunities

The college has a good placement contact foe internship & the stipend offered is also good. Many MNC and well recognised campanies like ITC, PWC, Wipro etc come in the placement.

The college celebrate many feast every year which includes techinal, cultural programmes.One of the feast celebrated is umage in which cultural programmes, western dance, drama, indian dance, etc is done.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees are quite expensive. For B.Com course the fees is around 20,000/- per year excluding the hostel charges. For 1st year the fees is to be paid at the time of admission and the remaining two year it has to be paid by June next year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers scholorship only to the needy student who cannot afford the fees of the college.There is no system of loan in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni & senior student maintains a strong network personally as well through social network sites. It keeps up updated on the latest changes in the tax structure & other changes in the ecomony.

Exam Structure

The college has a quite strict exam structure. Practical exam is held every quarter and for science stream lab exam is also held. Student skipping the exams are not let easily gone .

It has one of the best kolkata faculty in the college.they teach how to be best in the competition and how to come out with flying colours in the career.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
