Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is good and technical. We have to discuss more in our classes than writing or collecting study materials. Both theory and practical papers are included in the course curriculum of B.Tech.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are good for us. As most of the top recruitment companies visit our college for conducting campus interviews. I also got my first job through campus interviews from this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is just the same as other engineering college fees and I was able to pay the fees without taking educational loans. My parents can afford my college fees. Total fees I paid in this 4 years course is almost 5 lakhs.

Campus Life

We spent most of our time in the college laboratory. Like classes, we also have to attend our practicals in college laboratories. Our college lab is spacious and very neat and clean. We loved to spend time there.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed in our college hostel. The infrastructure of my college hostel is very nice, though not so modern but we were given all the essential facilities. The rooms were very large with enough spacious dining hall.

Admission

A clearing entrance exam is necessary for getting admission in the B.Tech course. I got this college through selection after I cleared JEE-Mains. You have to get a good score for in Entrance exam getting admission in this college.

Faculty

All the faculties are the best faculties. I was so pleased with the behavior of our college faculties. They were so lovely with polite behavior. Most of them are like our friends. We had huge respect for our faculty members.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
