Actually no bad remarks about this college because it has a good campus with good staffs and infrastructure.

Actually I'm studying B.Com and the coachings are really extraordinary and also before semester exams they are conducting model exams which is very similar to semester. So that we can easily self evaluate ourself and we can write our semester exams without any difficulty.

Actually in this college placements are really extraordinary because I got placed in a reputed company with the proper college trainings. In my batch there are 110 students studying and in that 110 students there are 70 and above students are placed in good companies.

College Events

There are many events organised in our college like sports and cultural and also social activities. Every year we are celebrating sports day and cultural. And the passed out students are most satisfied with their farewell. Because this college is giving importance to events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is totally satisfied. It's totally reasonable for us because this is located in Chennai where the cost of living is high. We are experiencing many facilities as we have good infrastructure in this college like seminar hall, canteen, conference hall, playground.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not yet got any scholarship but my friends have got scholarships based on their community which is really appreciating.

Campus Life

I'm studying BCom final year. So I would like to share my amazing journey in Alpha arts and science college. In this college, I have got sufficient exposure with respect to studies and extracurricular activities as well. So I would like to thank my lecturer and management who have made my college life memorable.

Seniors are very helpful to juniors because seniors are giving their old books to us and we are also giving our old books to our juniors so that's quite good.

Admission

My friend suggested me to join in this college because this college is not only for our education that they are encouraging many sports and this college is especially good in NSS and NCC. They are also encouraging students to participate in those activities.

In my course, I have 5 subjects so 5 staffs are there to give us a lecture. And all are very polite and doing their duties in the correct way. And every lecturer is honest to their profession and whenever we have doubts they will clarify it with patience.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. From the 4th semester exam, the student is eligible for a placement campus interview. In our college, mega campus interview happen and all south college students participated in our college campus interview Some campus interview companies are LIC, Muthoid finance, and HDFC. 20% of people were selected in campus interviews. Positive is good atmosphere and campus Negative is we can’t enjoy the campus because whenever we cut a class the department cut our international mark and we can’t write exam without 75% mark

Yes I have applied for various colleges such as Guru Nanak College Jain College MGR institute of technology Madras University. Jain College and MGR college is accepted my admission but I did not join those college because their fee structure is high and the distance is long from my location. My Rejection was Guru Nanak College I did not join because of the asking percentage is not eligible for me. My 12th percentage was 69.67 percentage. In my college ,Alpha arts and science college admission process is you have must completed 12th schooling with passing percentage above 40%. There is no cut off. If you have good cut off percentage they will reduce the fee structure of 5000rs. There is no entrance exam to join the college. in my opinion the college admission process is very good experience and they accepted my admission and they give detailed about fee structure and faculties events and all....Read More
