Remarks
I got admitted into this college through my NIFT score.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams were 4 times a year, most of which were jury /project-based leaving only 3-4 theory papers every semester. There are regular assignments throughout the year which are pre-planned and the dates are mentioned in the year calendar. The marks are a combination of your performance in these assignments and presentations combined with your mid-semester and end-semester scores.
Placement Experience
At least for the fashion department, there has been a 100% placement. Though the salary can vary depending on the company. Also, it depends on the demand that particular year. It varies from 3 LPA-12 LPA. Some companies from outside India also come for placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee I would say was towards the higher side. It used to come up to around 2 lakhs per semester which is around 8 lakhs for 4 years. Apart from this, you have to buy a lot of material as it is a design college.
Campus Life
As most of the students (90%) are hostelites, the campus is always lit up with people around. Post 6:30 you can see people playing, shooting, taking pictures, painting, etc. The gender ratio is not so good it is almost as low as 2 guys to 10 girls. There were cultural, sports, literary and environmental clubs that organized competitions and events.
Admission
The admission was through an entrance test conducted by the college itself. However, the college also takes in students through their NIFT scores.
Faculty
The faculty has a lot of industry experience along with their degrees. Their inputs are practical and related to the current times. Almost all the material is made by them in form of presentations, hence is easier to understand. You can always approach them for doubts and also mail them with any issues that you're facing.
