Entrance Preview

I appeared in comedk 2005 and secured 1300 rank wanted to build my career in IT sector. So opted for CS branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall it was good and learned so many things about course, most important thing life, provided good trainings on computer subjects, personality development.

Internships Opportunities

Selected in Wipro through college and they offered 3 lpa. Attended internship in Wipro electronic city and they gave 15000 as stipend.

Placement Experience

One of the best in Karnataka. Almost every got placed even during recession time (2008). All major companies came to our college. Microsoft, Cisco, Netapp, teaxs, Google etc.

College Events

UTSAV, college fest. Everyone knows about this fest in south India. We are going to celebrate 70 years of college in 2016.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive.1 lakh yearly during 2005-2009. Now they are charging 1.5 lakh as college fees and 75k as hostel charge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not opted for college loan. But all major banks will provide the college loans. Allahabad bank is available in college premises.

Campus Life

Excellent, College days. Best placement in Karnataka, college campus in the heart of Bangalore, College fest: Utsav, Best hostel/mess in south India, Best faculties.

Hostel Facilities

Awesome. Specially for north Indians Single room, all indoor games, lan, hostel month, non-veg foods (bi-weekly).

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Overall good but during lab time, it was horrible.

Overall it was good some professors are really masters in their subjects. Specially my HOD: Guruprasad. Dakshyani Mam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is practical up to date and the assignments are project based that encourages better understanding. the assignments are also real world based that require ,the students, to undestand the subjects better. there are 3 internal test with lab tests include that test the student's knowledge in the subject

Other colleges were not chosen as my rank wasn't suffecient enough. Comparitively to other entrance exams the best colllege with my rank would have been BMS. Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference. The admission process is easy not much hectic. They will provide all the procedure required for admission. They even have their own mail system, they provide college mail id to all the students. I chose this college because I wanted to pursue CSE and this college seems to be a good option to do so. I did get rejection from a few colleges because I could crack their entrance exam.
