Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of Information Technology has been set clear. It involves all the main subjects and components. Every year it gets updated according to the industrial demand. Our college provides the leading faculties that provide knowledge based on the practical aspect. The faculties always support their students and also provide us with various opportunities.
Placement Experience
Certainly the most important thing i.e. the placements. And you would happy to know that SRM provides an ample number of placement opportunities. Almost every student that applies for placements gets placed. Our college's average package is 4-5lpa. And the super dream companies can lead you up to 40 lacs. And yes, you get a lot of support from your seniors here. You can ask for help without any hesitation from them.
Campus Life
Apart from academics, there are various events conducted by the college be it a technical event INNOVATE or a cultural event RUBAROO or a sports event KHEL. Various curriculum books are available in the library including the previous year's question paper. Various societies related to technical or cultural fields are also present represented by the group of students.
Hostel Facilities
If you want a hostel, then I would definitely suggest going for it. The rooms are good with attached bathrooms. That's something I like about SRM hostels. The hygiene of the mess is taken care of. You get quite a number of food varieties There are both AC and non-AC rooms with either 2-3 sharing. The menu here is also being updated from time to time depending upon the seasons. But the mess management is not so consistent with the quality of the food.
