Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS course consists of both theory and practical sessions like anatomy and other subjects that definitely require practical knowledge for a medicine student. We are given internships in our final year, working under some great professionals we learn a lot about the career.
Placement Experience
As MBBS students we have three options to either go through the internship program a get a job there, practice in a clinic after completing MBBS or further do MD which is also available at BIU. We get stipend during the internship period.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee for MBBS at BIU is Rs 13,50,000 per year, it is quite expensive for some of the students, but factor like scholarship by the university, state government and educational loans are there to help out.
Campus Life
The labs for practical training are very well equipped with all necessary facilities needed for surgeries/surgical practice. Gender ratio is commendable it is multicultural campus. The university is completely against any discrimination and follows the anti-ragging policy.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel as of BIU is compulsory for the medicine students, we have all the necessary facilities like ground, Wi-Fi, electricity and access to water 24/7. Girls and boys hostels are separate. Mess provides great food. The charges are updated in a monthly manner.
Admission
As we already know clearing NEET is the mandatory factor of any MBBS course. The other eligibility criteria is to obtain 50 % with BPC stream in board or equivalent examination, the student is expected to be of 17 years minimum while joining.
Faculty
Our medicine faculties are highly trained medical professionals themselves, they help us out both in theory classes and practicals, we get to learn a lot about being a doctor from them and how important and sacred the profession is.
