Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to North Eastern Hill University and the course is recognized by the Medical Council of India. Generally the course starts during the month of August every year with 50 students per batch. The course duration is 4 years with an internship of one year followed by it.
Placement Experience
The college provides internship opportunity to all the students after completing the course. The students get exposed to real-life cases and they work under senior doctors during this period. They are also asked to work in different departments on rotation to make sure that they are able to deal with all kinds of cases.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee is definitely affordable. As this is a government run college, the course fee is very less and the students from poor economic background can definitely benefit from this less fee. The exam fee is 1000 and a coaching fee of 1500 are the only additional fee for the students.

The college has excellent facilities for sports. Most of the indoor and outdoor games are available for students to explore. There is also a healthy environment to participate i various sports related contests.
Campus Life
The college is always bustling with activities all around the year. There are both educational and extra-curricular events such as sports and cultural events that take place in the college. Students are encouraged to participate in all of them.
Admission
NEET UG examination scores and 12th standard scores together are considered for admission. There are 50 seats in the college and admission is done via counselling process. Most of the times the cut off is ranging between 96 to 97% with a minimum of 50% score in the 12th std exams.
Faculty
The staff in the college are very friendly and they create a learning atmosphere for the students. Since most of the faculty are also practicing, they provide practical scenarios to students to help them understand. There are also regular seminars and lectures organized to get the students familiarized with the concepts.
