A average college

I appeared for CAT as well as for MAT but my score was good in MAT,so I applied through the MAT .My score in MAT exam was 650 and I choose this college by seeing its ranking in top magazines of India .The college was placed at 52 rank among top 100 colleges for best b school.

The course curriculum or course structure is very lengthy and sometimes a student has to spend time till last night of the exam to finish the syllabus .Some unnecessary things have also been put up in the syllabus which is quite a burden on us for exam purpose. The research work is not good considering the course.

Yes the college do provide internship in summer for a period of 35 days in which the general stipend offered is around 12 to 15 thousand .The companies which come for internship are suzuki, jaro education,shine.com etc.

The placement and job opportunities in the college is not good as same number companies come in the college every year with a very bad job profile and very low salary starting from 2.5 lacs and average salary offered is around 3.5 lacs per annum. The companies which come every year are jaro education, Asahi india glass, Capsag consultancy services etc.

VERVE is the name of the annual cultural festival that is celebrated every year in the college. The college cultural festival is not celebrated on a very big level. The fest is small with participations from 4 -5 colleges. The fest is attended mostly by youths with programs ranging from debate to dance to fashion shows etc.

The fees structure of Jims is not so expensive but the facilities provided in the college in resemblance to the fees is not justified.The college charges a fees of 5.95 lacs for a 2 year MBA programme including dress. The college campus is small and the class rooms are also ordinary .So the students are not getting the facilities they should get.

No i haven't avail any kind of good scholarship or loan so i cannot comment on this matter and i don' have any sort of idea on this matter.

The Campus life is good and energetic.The gender ratio is also good and mostly the students are from DELHI-NCR region .There is no biasedness in the college in terms of race , gender and also on the basis of religion.There is politics in the college but not too much.The college organizes workshops after every 2 or 3 weeks for the students.

The alumni network of jims is quite good and senior students are also very good.I had a very good interaction with the seniors and they used to guide me throughout my semesters. So seniors are helpful and alumni network is also very good. Till now i had no interaction with the alumni members of the college.

The Exam structure is not designed in a proper way as mostly during exams there is not a single gap between the exams and students have to study late. Till night in order to fetch good marks in the exam.The exam strucuture is not designed in a well manner.

The faculty of the college is good and they are very much interested in teaching the students.Teachers are well qualified,some of them are former emplyees of banks and some are having degree of MBA from reputed institutes. The faculty members do their best to teach a student.
