General graduation college with good options

Our college has received the approval and certification for various bachelor's and master's leve program from Kalyani University. Syllabus and course curriculum strictly followed as per the guidelines of the university. The various disciplines of the course are distributed finely as a part of the 3 year duration of the program. Examinations and evaluations through assignments and tests are conducted regularly. Pattern of examination is semester wise.

Placements and job opportunities are very few if you rely on College only. However if one tries and makes effort on his own then good placement offers can be attained. Though internship is not mandatory in our course for other courses as well like the Science based programs internship is not provided by the college.

The fees and charges are kept quiet low by our college. The fee for the three year is program less than Rs 5,000. Amount to be submitted annually is around Rs 1, 600 which is to be paid when the new academic session kicks in.

I'm not too much aware of the scholarships however I have come to know that University offers financial support to students who are academically good. State government is also offering scholarship to the original residence of the state which one of my batchmates applied for and got the amount sanctioned.

In terms of events and happenings on campus there is good things to offer viva College. Various events like sports meet, annual fest, Republic Day celebrations, Diwali celebration etc are organised by the college. College also organises educational trips for student. Host of extra-circular activities changing from Arts to sports are there for us to engage in. On infrastructure scale college has decent orientation and facilities to offer.

I took admission in the college based on percentage at 10 + 2 level. I made an application offline by purchasing the prospectus and application form from the college counter and submitting the same after filling it. My application was accepted quickly and I was given the admission in the program. I took admission in the college because this college was offering the program which I was looking for at a very minimal fees.

Faculty is decent as per the observation I have made in my classrooms. They try to explain things in a lucid manner and make sure that the boring subject of history gets some attention and interaction from the side of the students.
