unforgottable fun

As i studied in fashion design college, i will never forgot my memories from college, whatever i am today is because of my college, i will always miss my campus my faculties, seniors, juniors, friends all my learnings etc. one thing i will give as a bad remark is the fee structure overall it was a good place to learn.

NIFT entrance exam. I have scored 189 all india rank since my childhood i want to study in a design colege.

Early it was quite tough for me but after that slowly it become easy and interesting. We studied about prints development, software (coreldraw, photoshop, ned graphics etc)

I have done two months internship in otessere design studio noida and graduation project in ahuja overseas jaipur. I got eight thousand stipend in per month in otessere design studioand ten thousand per month in ahuja overseas.

In my class almost everybody was placed within 2 or months after passing from college, companies like bombay rayon,studio, d decor,sabyasachi,pantaloons,max,liestyle,art india,textrade,orient craft, bewkoof.com etc.aprox package 4 lakh per annum

mr. and miss. fresher, spectrum, fashion olympiad, spectrum, converge, tantu, fashionava, knitmoda, technova diffrent cultural programmes like rangoli, face painting, nift premier league, kridathon, football league, basket ball league, art to wear, textile wall, installation, junk art, slogan competation, gk quiz, soduku.

It is very expensive for a middle class people being as a govt. college the fee is very high i am mentioning the fee structure semester by semesterin semester 1 fee paid 61500 in semester 2 fee paid 50000 in semester 3 fee paid 50000 in semester 4 fee paid 50000 in semester 5 fee paid 55000 in semester 6 fee paid 50000 in semester 7 fee paid 68000 in semester 8 fee paid 60000

Yes, we had scholarship from our college side which is given on income basis many process were there only few selected students was availing those scholarship, i too had a education loan.

As i am a boy, there was no boys hostel in my college, we have to arrange our lodging by ourself, i took 1 bhk for 9 thousand which was shared by me and y friend,internet electricity, water, maintenance cost aprox 3500 each and as we r design students we need stationary frequently so our expenditure was there also it was aprox 2 to 3 thousand per month, fooding costs 4000 approx, so on an average it was 10 to 12 thousand per month

Frequent guest faculty and alumani meetings are organised by the college to know the industrial demand, through seniors interactions only many of us got our intern ships and many other projects and freelance work.

We had regular submissions of every subject, at the end of semester we had jury in process based subject and written exam in written paper, even we have practical exams in some subjects, we had to work more in labs like cad lab, weaving lab, tie dye lab etc. for research based subject even we have to go market to do primary and secondary research as per my experience the exams and labs were hectic, because in jury days we have to wait for our jury to over sometimes even we have to wait till 7 pm..

We all know every faculty is not good for everybody.so some faculty was good in teaching and some of them in good in fun.some are very rude, some are very decent.in our college life i was really impressed with our department facuilty (textile design).
