Bachelor of science (Bsc) Botany

Bsc botany follows semester system and has a duration of 3 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on a lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

The college has a Placement Cell and provides with various opportunities including personality development Programmes to the students. Various recruiters like nestle, apollo visit the college and recruit the students.

The fee structure of the college for bsc botany is around 60 thousand which is feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

The college very good in its extracurricular activities. They have various sports activities. Yoga day, constitution day, world environment day are celebrated in the college. The college also has NSS. they also organize for various cultural programmes.

The college provides with the hostel facilities. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel has an 24 houra drinking water, electricity facilities. Mess facility is there to provide with food to the students.

Dhakuakhana College was established in 1966 and is in the District of Lakhimpur, Assam. The college is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and is recognized by UGC. To enroll in BSc botany program, the student should have 10 +2 in science with atleast 50 %. The admission is done on the basis of merit.

The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and also help them when they need.
