The curriculum broadly covers the engineering subjects of related fields such as Surveying, Building materials, Soil mechanics &, Structural analysis , Hydraulics etc. The curriculum is very well designed as it trains students according to the industry needs. AMCET provides its students various jobs and placements opportunities.Many big companies visit the college every year with great opportunities .Companies like Wipro,Intel,Zomato,HP,Infosys are some of the many companies who comes to the college every year.College also ties up with these companies for internships .

The college organizes multiple cultural and technical festivals as well as internship fairs. Inter-college events and sports meets are also organized.The students from AMCET, as well as other colleges, also participate in them.

The fees structure of this course is feasible. They charge around 2 lakhs rupees for a 4-year degree course. This includes all the extra charges like lab fees, smart class fees etc. Students can pay the fees on yearly basis.

AMCET focus on extra-curricular activities is also no less. They have both indoor and outdoor stadiums for the students. They have adequate fitness centers for girls as well as boys. They give special attention and training to students who want to build their career in any sports field. They also have industry powered labs which provide the students with an experience of working in the industry.

I am currently pursuing BE-Civil engineering which is a 4-year undergraduate course. The eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have scored 45% in his 10+2. Admission in Annai Mira college is made through single window counselling based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) merit list, which is prepared on the basis of candidate's class 12th marks. I chose this college because it is a good institution with its focus on the overall development of its students.

The faculty of the college is highly qualified. They teach the students with great zeal and enthusiasm.The teachers are interactive so they also make the lectures interesting while also providing students useful insights about the various future career options.
