Course Curriculum Overview
Maintaining the medical records of each and every patient and feeding their details in software is very important and critical for future reference. This all was part of the curriculum.
Placement Experience
After I completed the course, there were lots of companies and hospitals in Karnataka and outside looking for Medical coders who have a very important role in the financial success of a health institution and hospitals. I got placed in a US-based company in Chennai with a very good package.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for the first year and second year are 4,500 and for hostel facilities. The fees are very low compared to other colleges which have similar courses with limited infrastructure and facilities. The college has very good lab and provides real-life simulations.
Campus Life
Labs are equipped with the latest equipment and technology. Lots of extracurricular activities are held regularly but me being a little more focused on academics, I didn't participate much in the activities. But I use to attend all the seminar sessions without fail which really helped me when I got the offer.
Admission
I did my PUC and completed it with distinction. Medical records technology was one of the growing industries during my days and hence I joined that course. The selection is very simple like filling out the application form and attend the interview on the suggested date by the college.
Faculty
The teachers are so passionate and cooperative in the way they were really helping and supporting the students out of the way to bring the best of them as well make them understand about the role of maintaining medical records.
