Course Curriculum Overview

SCMHRD promotes a lot on experiential learning and it is substantially considered in its course structure. Along side the relevant curriculum that is taught to us, the guest lectures from corporate stalwarts make sure we get a real time industrial essence.

Placement Experience

SCMHRD does offer great placement opportunities for both the final as well as summer placements. Leading companies from different sectors and domains come at SCMHRD to recruit the best of talent. I am currently placed in Genpact Ltd. which offers services digital IT solutions domain.

College Events

There are a lot of events and fests conducted and the complete batch attends all the events with great enthusiasm. Some of the events are :- -NEEV (The Flagship event of SCMHRD) -ODYSSEY ( Corporate Panel Discussion) - MBA Jams - Alumini meets. - Augustus- the competition to hunt the best manager - Stratomania (case study competitions and quizzes) And many more smaller events.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities avaliable are standard and good. There are triple sharing and double sharing rooms enough to accommodate the entire SCMHRD student lot. There are water filters and coolers on each floor as well as a geyser for hot water in each room.

Admission

I had to clear the SNAP exam as well as the GE-PI-WAT rounds to get past the gates of SCMHRD. The far and wide reputation of SCMHRD did not keep any second thoughts in my mind to choose any other college.

Faculty

All the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective domains. Alongside this, the supportive faculty as well as the rest of the staff are equivalently qualified to cater to our requirements.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Any person is eligible who is completed his/her graduation from some well known university and having grad percenetage above 50(for general) and above 45 (for st/sc). The application form is available at the time of applying for the Snap exam else seperately from the college or university portal it could be filled. In Symbiosis International University, they have the reseravtion provision for Kashmiri Migrants, ST, SC, OBC, PWD. They are benefitted in the order of seat reservation. For Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats, SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 3% of the total seats are reserved.
