Remarks
I don't have any positive or negative remarks about the college. All my opinions have already been stated in the above-mentioned questions. This apart, I have nothing more to say. So, Not Applicable.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. We have 4 major specialisations. As of now, we don't have options for Major and Minor specialisations. More guidance on research is needed from faculty. The exams and labs are frequent. It is not always hectic.
Placement Experience
There are good placement and job opportunities. The college provides internship opportunities. Overall it was a learning experience comprising of Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Stipend is given.
College Events
Neev - The AnnualCultural Fest; Yashasvi - the Annual Management Conclave; Odyssey - by the Guest Lecture Team, SCOPE has a competition focussed on Supply Chain; Samatva has TEACH. Also, Samatva celebrates Joy of Giving. Pongal, Sankranti, Dandiya night are also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as there are loan options. The detailed figures can be seen from the admission letter. The fee structure may vary from year to year as per the discretion of the institute and also varies from course to course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The person with the highest CGPA in every semester gets a tuition fee scholarship. Other scholarship details are mentioned on the Symbiosis website. I am currently not aware of these scholarship details.
Campus Life
There are various extracurricular activities and sports that take place in SCMHRD. The Sports Committee conducts War of Divisions in which both the junior and senior batches participate. This apart, there are regular cricket and volley ball matches in campus.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are shared accommodation. Every person is given a bed, a table, a cupboard, a bookshelf. The hostels have lift. The hostel has a pantry with fridge, induction cooktop and sink. The hostel infrastructure is good.
Alumni/Alumna
SCMHRD has an extensive alumni network that reaches out to their alma mater. They are helpful. We have interactions with the alumni during the City Meets and when the alumni come to campus. Learning from them has added to the MBA experience.
Admission
I gave the SNAP exam. I scored a percentile that was above the cut off. I attended the WAT-GD-PI process. I cleared all the selection processes and got selected in the Core MBA program of SCMHRD.
Faculty
Some faculty of the college are good and they are qualified. It is a good learning experience to learn from them. The external faculty are also good and qualified. They are also interested to teach the particular course.
