Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is research focussed at times. The faculties take an effort to keep us updated with the revised syllabus. The visiting faculty tends to finish the entire course in 12 to 14 hrs or so, which becomes a little saturated. Apart from that the course structure would be rated on average according to me. Moreover, the lab sessions give us the practical insight to the theory we learn.

Placement Experience

Placements are good for students pursuing HR. Compared to HR, the other trends face a competition at a some level. SCMHRD does provide internship opportunities to all the students. I am currently in the 1st year of MBA, yet to experience the internship.

College Events

NEEV, its an annual cultural and corporate event at SCMHRD. Neev has made its place since the year 1996. Being India's one of the renowned B-school fests bring all the domains and population across the country at one place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure at SCMHRD is feasible. Its afforable in terms of a post graduate course. For the students applying for any loan for the course have given a positive feedback in general. There are variations in the free according to the various quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is offered by the college that benefits the students to opt for loans at a lower rate than usual due to the tie-ups of the university with certain banks. This gives the college an additional point to attract the students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure can be rated as good. The MBA course that we have opted for requires us to stay in campus at all times, thereby its compulsory for us to opt for hostels. The facilities provided by the college can be rated as satisfactory.

There are various sort of faculties at SCMHRD. The management tries to bring the best knowledge to the student through the faculty. The elder and experienced faculties at HRD have a few of quality faculties they'll ever have. They are always interested in sharing all the ideas, knowledge and experiences.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Any person is eligible who is completed his/her graduation from some well known university and having grad percenetage above 50(for general) and above 45 (for st/sc). The application form is available at the time of applying for the Snap exam else seperately from the college or university portal it could be filled. In Symbiosis International University, they have the reseravtion provision for Kashmiri Migrants, ST, SC, OBC, PWD. They are benefitted in the order of seat reservation. For Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats, SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 3% of the total seats are reserved.
