Memoriezz of my Life

Well , my college was overall a great fun and left me with lot of good bad and real experiences of life . I have made so many friends during that and build my contacts in corporate as well. I wish that days just would come back and if there is any reverse button to it. I really don't mind.My college was beautiful.

I have opted MAT 2007 entrance exam which is all India level entrance for Masters degree to get admission in the college and scored 70 percent marks into that. At last through with admission.

I have opted PGDBM and under that went for the dual specialization of FINANCE as well as MARKETING. So in that basically we read financial subjects as well as marketing and under that First semester was common for all and from second onwards everyone was suppose to choose out their streams.

I want for internship in my second semester and i was placed in HSBC Invest direct for my internship . Basically the period was 3 months which i did and the monthly stipend i used to get was 6000 at that time. So overall it was a great corporate experience for me.

At the time of placements so many of companies came for the job interviews in our college too. Even i was also one of the student who got selected in my campus by ICICI Direct at that time. And they have recruited me as Senior Relationship Manager at that time and worked for a year with them and was based at Vashi branch of them.

Well, College events were great joy for all of us at that point of time. And the major events were our Allumni meets and Intercollegiate events which used to happen yearly. It's name was RARA-AVIS in our college. And also we use to go to other colleges to participate in thier events and .

It was feasible. So many students have opted for loan as well. And also some were paying on their own cash. As compare to the other B- schools at that time it was quiet cheaper and manageable.

No , I didnt go for the loan facility so don't have an idea about that. Overall it was having tie up with the good banks at that time as well and administration staff was quiet cooperative to all students.

If i talk about campus life. So yes it was a worth as days never comes back and the exposure you get is really worth. In our times too so many debate competitions use to happen and have taken part two to three times in that on other colleges as well. And also we use to arrange the activities for good cause and so many events as Blood Donation camps and also occasional Small sessions on great topics on AIDS day or so many.

I was also one of the student who was from out of town so have to go for that Hostel as i was Girl so parents were bit strict to the same. So i went for that facility . In our college it was trust hostel so it was a expensive option compare from outside. And the food was not that great . Sometimes i use to cook on my Electric Hotplate in my room only Which was not allowed. Overall it was fun with friends.

In our times Alumni meet was a great network to get in touch with our senoirs and it was a worth in building network between us and the companies they were working with after their course completion. In our students cell we use to contact best of the companies related to our field and call them for campus placements of the students.

Exam structure was quiet cool for the first semester and it was bit tough and hectic from second sem onwards for all. As equal tension of getting placed in good place was there for all of us.

Well faculty of our college was ok but the guest faculty was great when teachers from so many reputed institutes used to come and teach special subjects. So overall it was great.
