Course Curriculum Overview

Very flexible and we can select one specialization from Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR, IDM, BA and have audit courses from any specializations according to our interest. These audit courses are done as a certification.

Placement Experience

Every student is given equal opportunity for both internships and final job placements. There are various companies that visit the campus ranging from FMCG companies to consulting companies and IT companies.

College Events

There are 16 committees and each committee have their annual event. Every festival is celebrated in the campus with equal spirit and harmony whether it be pongal, lohri, or any national festival. Students enthusiastically participate in every event.

Campus Life

There is a separate sports club which looks after all these. There are annual events of each and every sport i.e. football, basketball, cricket, table tennis, volleyball. We also have a war of divisons tournament annually.

Hostel Facilities

Yes Each room is a triple sharing. We have geyser and solar hit water tap in every bathroom. A separate washroom. A cupboard, a shelf, study table. Water cooler on every floor. 24hr elevator. Proper safety measures.

Alumni/Alumna

We have an alumni base of over 5000 and each of them is ready to help in any manner. We interact with them on various occasions throughout the year. These interactions help us understand how the corporate world is working and what we can do to start adapting for it.

Admission

There was a gd-pi-wat process and it was very smooth.

Faculty

The faculty are very helping and they have vast knowledge of their respective subjects. Not only that they are willing to help us even if we want to onow something about the corporate life and help us during our internships as well.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Any person is eligible who is completed his/her graduation from some well known university and having grad percenetage above 50(for general) and above 45 (for st/sc). The application form is available at the time of applying for the Snap exam else seperately from the college or university portal it could be filled. In Symbiosis International University, they have the reseravtion provision for Kashmiri Migrants, ST, SC, OBC, PWD. They are benefitted in the order of seat reservation. For Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats, SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 3% of the total seats are reserved.
