Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has now been changed for chemical engineering and it's quite efficient & nice. 2022 is the last batch for the old curriculum. The labs from second year are quite chill & you get sufficient time to do extra work. Mid sem & End sem along with class tests, assignments are a part of grades and are not that complicated.
Placement Experience
On campus placements occur during final year and some companies also provide internship during pre final year & some with PPO too. The college provides research internship during summer and the stipend is around 5000/- per month. You get to learn a lot of things but you have to work really hard to get there.
College Events
Mindbend- Technical fest started in 2019 itself. Earlier techfest & cultural fest happend together in SPARSH. But from 2019 they have been separated. Cultural feet- SPARSH with three nights. Sports fest- IGNIS All festivals are celebrated in college by various hostels.
Hostel Facilities
There is only one girls hostel which has single beds hence no sharing. Almost every one can get into the hostel since it's spacious. Hostel has a common mess & serves good food as compared to other hostels.
Admission
JEE mains is the key to enter into this college. You need to fulfill the minimum marks criteria in this exam to get into the college. Through JOSAA counselling rounds you get to choose your branch & college (NIT, IIIT, GFTIs).
Faculty
The faculty of chemical engineering dept. is quite knowledged, helpful & nice. They are keenly interested to make students learn new stuff & not only related to the curriculum. Faculties are mosty old in this college & are thereby experienced.
