Course Curriculum Overview

Fine course curriculum with the best part being getting educational trips in all semesters. It's fun because after the continuous routine there's something worth enjoying & learning. Exam consists of endsem, midsem, internals, practical & Viva.

Placement Experience

Placements are just fine not so good. College provides research internship that are paid. Many companies arrive in the campus for recruitment & takes aptitude test in the beginning & then personal interview.

College Events

Various events take place. Cultural, technical are quite common. But may be we don't have a good luck from almost last 2 years it's not happening that properly due to national emergencies. Other fests are mmnct, department events & fests and many more.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel condition is good with the third year hostel having no sharing. Rentals are feasible & worth it. Rooms are spacious & have good furniture. Hostel Infrastructure is fine. Food is not that bad as compared to many hostels.

Admission

To get admission here you need to give & qualify Jee Mains. Rules were different during my time.

Faculty

The faculty is good & friendly. They are actually high qualified mentors keen to educate & make students bright in every field. They are very interested with the particular course & choose to help students.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available.
