College Days

My college life was good because of faculties, Head of departments, my college mates, and other staff of college. My life changed at this college and I get to learn alot. I recommend my college as the best one in the town.

Course curriculum included various books and of various authors like Sahitya Bhawan. We were having theories and practicals. We were having viva in computer related subjects. Our exam pattern was for 8 subjects and we have to answer questions with marking of 1 mark questions, 5marks questions, 16 marks questions.

We got to know about placements through our TPO( Training & Placements) Officer. On the day of placements they used to be with us till the interviewers leave on the time of completion of interviews. TPO and their team guided us for Personal Interview round and for Group discussions too.

Various types of summits were organized by committees in our college. College activites include debates, sports, championships,etc. Celebration of World health Day, celebration of International Earth Day, etc. Navratri Day was celebrated with Dandiya Competition and we got passes. Science day was celebrated with many competitions.

Fees was very feasible. Not expensive for all income groups' families. It included laboratory fees, developmental fees, course fees, coordination fees, exam form fees 500/-, admission form fees 250/-. Although scholarship was also there.

Scholarship for General, OBC, SC and ST was available. Depending on fixed criterion of percentages which were decided by universities. Loan facility was not available for any of the course or student category.

Club activities were organized, there were social clubs, nature clubs, cultural clubs,etc. In these clubs activities were given like plantation, debates, team leading competitions,etc. Laboratories were separate for BBA, MBA, B.COM, Computers, etc. Sports like basketball, volley ball, short put, etc. were played.

Hostels were clean and proper sanitization was maintained. Food was economical and quality was medium. They provide us cooler, washing machine, beds, Gas and cylinder. They were having biometric punching system and CCTV cameras too.

There was a group of passed students who told us about placements, their views, their experience, their struggles and hard work at the time during course. We got knowledge and support from them too. Seniors provide mentorship.

There were various rounds of counselling, filling of multiple forms. Then after counselling we have to go for document verification, online registration then selecting colleges as choices like one, two or multiple colleges. After that we go through allotment process and final process is submission of fees. This way I got the admission.

Our faculties were punctual and they guided us in such a way like a mentor do. They helped us when we got problems in our assignments and projects. Also they make sessions interactive with quizes and short assessments. Also, when we were lacking in our career front they motivated us.
