Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum in civil engineering is fine. And mostly depends on students how they consider it. The labs are quite a fun and are mostly field ones since civil engineering is all about measurements & results. From the Research point of view it's totally fine & faculty helps students.
Placement Experience
Placements are fine & occur for both core & non core. many students go for gate, gre, upsc and other such courses in this branch & basically deal with the specialisation they want. On campus placements occur in the campus & companies recruit students based on CGPA, talent, knowledge & extra curricular activities.
College Events
There are many events celebrated. Technical fest- Mindbend Cultural fest- Sparsh Sports Fest- Ignis Inter years Departmental fests and weeks MMNCT, GMNVT etc. All hostels celebrate festivals acc to the festival alloted to them.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities for boys is fine but not as good as girls have it. Though these four years are gonna be the time you would miss after graduation. No need to worry about mess food. Sometimes it's good, many times not and you have easy accessibility to food outside campus and even ordering food is very easy here.
Admission
Jee mains is the exam & JOSAA is the counselling through which admission occurs.
Faculty
The faculty is supportive & nice and well qualified with their specialisations and they are more of interested in teaching stuff related to both curriculum & knowledge. Feild trips are very common in this branch of engg.
