College MANAGEMENT was always supportive and pro active. Many a decisions in student favour were taken under the aegis of honourable Chairman & Director.

Entrance Preview

This particular college is oldest in Punjab, established in 1984. Ranked among TOP 10 pharmacy college in india and known for its qualified staff.

Course Curriculum Overview

4 years equally divided into 8 semesters. Covering, Basic Biology, Anatomy , Chemistry in initial 3 semesters and moving on to advanced study of medicines with proper practicals.

Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Pharma companies of international repute came for interviews, all credit to placement cell of college well handled by Mr Vir Vikram. Genral CTC in 2010 was 1.2 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

College did encourage meritorious students and awarded them at regular intervals. LOAN facilities were available with certain banks, and college was supportive.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were best guides and also helped juniors get jobs as they passed out college. Alumni association was formed but remained inactive for some years. However in 2015 ALUMNI were invited specially for annual function.

Exam Structure

EXAMS and LABS were well managed, NOT HECTIC at all. The syllabus was well covered as per schedule and never in an exam a question was asked from uncovered topics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The inclusion of laboratory work industrial visit seminar activities also influenced by decision to choose course. However some units feel outdated and could be revised to match the latest industry standards . The schedule is very usually mangable though sometimes exams field tightly pack overall the difficult level is moderate and support proper learning rather than rote memorization.

Life at PCTE , an honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

This aligned with my dream of staying intact with medicine as the main part of curriculum but in an entirely different way . You get to learn about how it's discovered, designed, undergoes different preclinical , clinical trials ,manufactured , and then distributed under the related ethics, laws and regulations . You cannot wholely depend on faculty for your training for next entrance exam but need to put extra efforts to get by yourself and practice harder for GPAT. The faculty teaches as per the PCI guidelines for IKGPTU examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course in order to become a pharmacist. My course includes 4 labs in a week and 3 classes in a day. It is mandatory for every students to perform One experiment in every lab . Faculty members also helps us to perform the practicals. Mid sem examination is taken 3 times in a sem.

amazing college life with full of fun and enjoyment

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b Pharmacy cause i want to learn about the medicine I take also it helps me in better understanding how the chemicals work as we take medicine and also some other chemical properties improvement should be done in the case of more Pratical work as it should give us more and more pratical work rather then theory part . Placement Experience:

In 2023 my college placed 45-50 students in macloeds , and other pharmaceutical industry.but in 2024 They didn't do any placement. If u see any post of my college which say that this student was placed in 2024 all are fake Because they didn't give any placement. Theh will try to do one interview for a company which make medical devices but no one interested to do job in medical devices company because we study the pharmacy so we want to do job in pharmaceutical company. when my college didn't give any placement so students like me and my friend are very frustrated of job I was selected in Cipla after 5th month of completing my course .

Honestly .. in our course there is very low chance of placement.. if anyone get offer letter .. that is around 12-17,000 per month which is very less and no one can go for this job. In the last 4 years in our campus famous company visits and also provide 4-5 lakh package. but currently there is no one visit and providing placement ... in future i can't say anything... that time changes and company visiting our campus

I had been always looking to take admission in ISF college and hadn't thought about taking admission somewhere else as this is one of the best ever college in whole punjab for pharmacy. It's NIRF ranking is very good and it's an autonomous college.
