Good college affiliated to Nagaland University

College is affiliated to Nagaland University for graduate degree courses and follows the course curriculum and syllabus as recommended by the University. Normal routine and pattern of examination is followed and exams are conducted in the semester wise sequence with 2 semester examination being conducted in one year.

Don't expect much when it comes to placement as there is nothing to offer from the side of institute when it comes to making students get good job opportunities. most of the students go to cities like Guwahati or Kolkata after their graduation. Internships are not mandatory as a part of course and if one wants to do it then they can do as per their wish and institute doesn't provide any support for it.

Fee of the college is manageable and is not too much exaggerated. For the entire program the fee stands around Rs 20, 000. At the time of admission you have to pay around Rs 7,000 to Rs 8, 000 while the rest has to be paid at the start of each academic year.

Scholarship is offered by the University to students who are meritorious and have performed good in their academics. Sports based scholarships also offer to students who have performed well at district or National level. One can also explore financial assistance in face of educational loan that is offered by various private and public sector banks.

Apart from sports there is not much in terms of extra curricular activities that our institute offers. In terms of events celebration traditional tribal festivals, Independence Day, Republic Day takes place in the college campus. On the infrastructure front the college has all the necessary facilities that one looks for in a graduation level college.

Admission to my college are based on shortlisting of students on the basis of their 10 + 2 percentage. After submission of the application one has to wait for getting his name in the merit list to get the admission confirmed. After the grant of admission procedureal formalities are required to be completed. I opted for the this college taking in mind the popularity of this college in the district.

As far as my opinion about the faculty members are concerned I can say that in 2 years of my education in the college I have seen a mix of a quality that is good as well as average. Some of the teachers are so good that they ensure that each and every student understands the concept right there in the class while others just push for completing syllabus.
