Remarks
Many of them work in the college itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
The best thing about this course is most of the learning is practical and on hands training in our final year, which is very useful for us in the long run, we get to interact with the farmers about the crops through which we know what to improve.
Placement Experience
Many of our seniors are in good and decent-paying jobs now all from the college placements, there are government organizations, banks, and other horticulture industries that recruit students from this college. Most of us get placed for a good salary.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total of Rs. 2,03,117 for three years, the fee varies each semester, this is for the merit seat. For management quota aka payment seat, it is Rs. 8,12,600. Students can avail education loans and pay them later with interest to the banks.
Campus Life
The college has very good labs with high-tech equipment as that is what it is all about. The girl's ratio is actually higher than boys 3:1. All of them are very friendly. Activities like culture and sports are encouraged by the college, we have a great time organizing them.
Alumni/Alumna
When we are studying in a budding field which has a very little scope of employment the alumni are of great help, many of them are settled in a good organization, they help us in career and academics too. The alumni are well connected within themselves as well.
Admission
I had to clear the EAMCET exam, a government exam, based on which I was shortlisted and called for counseling. Based on my marks I got Horticulture. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% in your higher secondary.
Faculty
Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders, it is very informative and enlightening to learn from them and work with them in our final semester, we always look forward to that moment. All the staffs teach us very well, there are some non-teaching staffs who help us in the lab, we learn from them too a lot of practical knowledge.
