New Beginnings at SCMHRD

One really good thing about the college are the various clubs that are there. They help students build and work in teams. This enables them to be better team players and team leaders. The various activities they do enable them to perform better in industry.

The curriculum is dynamic in nature and is optimized the meet the current industry standards. The subjects and electives are very well aligned with one another and it brings about a holistic development of the student. Exams are very hectic during the midterms and we have multiple exams scheduled on the same day itself. So balancing the studies becomes an art in itself and it enables you to manage your time more judiciously and efficiently. During the end terms however we get ample breaks in-between exams that enable us to deliver our best.

Placements and job opportunities are good in our college. We get visited by big brands like ITC, HUL etc. Average package last year was around ?15.5 Lakhs. All other points are available in our official placement report.

We have multiple events that take place throughout the year. We have Yashasvi, which is a management conclave where the students get to interact with the top brass of industry. Additionally on similar lines we have Odyssey who organize panel discussions on future trends and upcoming work culture. We have multiple competitions throughout the year like Stratomania, Make-UR-mark, in-FIN-ity, tHRive, Tact-4-Ops. Our annual cultural fest is called NEEV. It has a really long history starting a few years after our college was established.

State Bank of India has recognized SCMHRD as a premier institution and as such offers the SBI scholar loan scheme to the student applicants and enables them to get the loan processed in about one working day.

We are a full-time residential institution and as such we have hostel accommodation. We have all the necessary amenities and even have cafeteria that serves us food late at night. An Internet connection is also provides to us as part of the infrastructure to keep updated.

Alumni network is good and well established. They conduct guest lectures and help in resolving interview doubts and helping them prepare for the placement process. They alumni network facilitates dissemination of knowledge directly from the heart of the industry.

I evaluated multiple institutes for the course. Based on a few key parameters such as curriculum, faculty, academic rigor, placement reports I selected this college. Being a student driven institute the admission process was completely organized by the student department for the same. They we able to track the journey of each candidate with utmost accuracy and precision. The whole process was smooth and all the necessary processes were conducted in a timely manner.

We have very qualified faculties in every department. Most of them are very active in academy circles. They regularly encourage us to read academic papers and then organize field visits related to the papers to verify ourselves if the on ground reality is different from academia. This gives a practical hands-on approach to our studies and enables us to be in sync with the times.
