A trust with destiny

There are no negative remarks. Positive thing about the college is its student driven culture. All the things are managed by the students only be it placements or socio cultural activities. Even the mess food is managed by the students. So it has a great learning for us.

Course Curriculum is very diverse in the sense not only we learn in classrooms but our college also encourages us to learn from competitions, live projects and internships. The exams and labs are very frequent making it a learning full day.

Placements and job opportunities are very huge when we talk about SCMHRD. Companies from Investment banking like HSBC to consulting (EY) from FMCG like HUL and ITC to Engineering like GE and Honeywell, come for the recruitment. This year's average stipend was of 2 lakhs.

We conduct a Bschool corporate cum cultural fest known as NEEV. It is third largest Bschool fest in India and around 40 Bschools including all IIMs and IITs participate in it. The overall footfall for the three day event is 15000.

Fee structure of SCMHRD is around 18 lakhs in total for two years. The fee structure includes the tution fees, hostel fees, mess fees and other expenditures. All this comes out to be around 18 lakh rupees.

So far no good knowledge about any type of scholarship offered by the college. Though college has got tie ups with various banks for loans which is a helpful step. It helps the fellow aspirants who get into the college to get quick loans.

Gender ratio has been maintained by the college. Students join SCMHRD from diverse backgrounds be it law or engineering or medical or even army. This makes the overall environment a learning hub and we get exposure in the college. We have a separate committee for sports activities and they conduct sports events in every month.

Since it is a residential program, all students live in the hostel itself. The hostel has got all the basic amneties from hot water to mess food from basic furniture to 24 hours electricity. It is basically a three sharing room.

Alumni connection is very strong. We usually have an event known as footprints where various alumns from different years of passout are being invited so that they can refresh their memories and at the same time they can interact with us for any kind of query or questions related to corporate world.

I gave an exam known as SNAP, which is an entrance exam for all Symbiosis colleges. In that I scored 97.8 percentile and managed the calls from top two Symbiosis colleges. From there I converted SCMHRD. The Admission process was really smooth and got to learn at every stage of it.

The faculties in our college are highly knowledgeable of their respective domain. They are helpful and not only help in the curriculum but also in other aspects like Business Competitions. They also help those students who find it difficult to clear the subjects.
