Best college in Pune

If you want to take a decent college then KIAMS is best it is one the beautiful campus. But considering the Placements I think it lacks. Moreover it depends upon the individual so go ahead with KIAMS it will transform your life.

Life at KIAMS is very great. Sessions are also chilled sometimes hectic also because you get various assignments but overall it's fine they also have Orientation program for 5 days where there is case presentations. They have proper computer lab as well as Business analytics lab. Bests part is they make you fit for the corporate world because they Focus on their course as well as faculties are all visiting faculties from IIMs so you get a perfect exposure. Exams are conducted every semester they have 6 semester of 2months.

Placements are quite good from our batch 80% got placement they invite various companies for participation. We have a seperate placement committee who goes to HR conclaves for maintaining relationships with Companies. The college ensures that no one should get placed below 4.5 lac but that's nit the real scenario because in our batch there were people who got placed below 4.5 lac so that's the complete lie a college does. Companies which visited this year were RBL Bank, HDFC, Square yards, Alchemist, Aptech, Faber infinite etc. Internship are responsibility of college there is a 3month internship which happens from April to June to get a corporate exposure some companies also offers stipend.

You will forget your family if you see the events of the collywe celebrate all the events like independence day, Ganesh chaturthi, Janmashtami, Holi, pre diwali party, Christmas, Onam, Dandiya night etc. We also have a Management fest which happens every year " Emblaze" so in this various colleges of Mumbai Pune participates and wins cash prizes it's a 2 day event.

Fee structure is feasible because it includes hostel fee as well compared to other colleges of pune it is high but it is a residential college inclusive of mess so fee is fine. You get the best food in mess if different varieties so no need to worry about that.

No the college doesn't offer any kind of scholarship to students but I think they should try giving that because their are students who are highly talented and experienced in their learning so they deserve scholarship.

There Are various webinars conducted from experienced person from corporate to tell the students what happens their. There are also industrial visit to companies like Mercedes, Kalyani mills etc. There is diversity in the college as students are from different places so we sometimes organizes quizzes fir the students.

Yes college is residential so we have hostel fees which is 3 Lac for 2 year's. We have best hostel and girls boys hostel is same. Girls on 2nd floor and boys on ground and first floor. They offer best rooms it's twin sharing room. In every dome their is 2 rooms with 2 washroom attached. They also have a common room where girls and boys can sit together and play games or watch TV.

College doesn't have a proper alumni network from the day of inception to now they have only organized one alumini meet. So I think this is the drawback College has. And due to this college is not able to make realtionship with them.

Admission process was quite simple but they consider minimum 50percentile in CMAT/CAT. So I got the college through CMAT first you have to fill a registration/admission form which will cost you ?750 then after that you will get a call from college if you are near Pune or mumbai then you can have your interview at college itself otherwise they take Interview on Skype.

KIAMS has best faculties which are knowledgeable and has experience. They also have visiting faculties from IIMs which make you fit for a corporate world they conduct very intresting sessions like roleplay, casestudies, group discussions etc. which all results in student engagement. As well as inhouse faculty are also very helpful you are always welcome for their support and best part is if you are late for submission of assignment they will give you extra time.
