Best college for women across the state

This college is best for everything. Vivekananda College for women got accredited by UGC NAAC with good grades. Their infrastructure is so up to the mark. In our first year, our principal met with us individually and asked about our feedback on different parts of the college. She even solved our many problems and queries in a small span of time. If you want to get enrolled in a Women's College, I really urge you to come here.

The whole course structure gets update every year with very interesting and factual topics. My Botany curriculum is under the Calcutta University's syllabus. If I talk about my exams, obviously they're bit difficult but if you study well understanding topics very clearly no one can stop you from getting good grades.

There is a wide range of companies which comes here with large no. of jobs and placements. Several MNC with high packages also comes here every year. Many of my alumni are well settled and living a royal life because of this college. Our college is also having placement cells that only deal with placement-related queries and doubts. They also help us in finding our careers.

I can talk the whole day and night about this. There are so many events that happen here in a daily basis. Several sports like football, cricket, table tennis, and several other indoor games are played here. We even have a gymnasium which helps us to keep our body fit and healthy. If I talk about activities perform here there are several activities including mountaineering, Karate etc which makes us love our campus Life little more. I love every part of my college life. Sports day of my college is the most favorite part of this college..We have our sports day every year.

If I talk about the fee structure, for my course they asked for 5210 for the first year which is quite affordable in comparison to other colleges giving this course with such best infrastructure. This fee includes all the other fees like lab charge, library charge, tuition fee, etc.

Plenty of State, Departmental and national seminars happens here frequently. Many Social programs to take place here in a daily basis. International days like ozone day, earth day etc get celebrated here every year with great pomp and pleasure

All my seniors are just like my brothers and sisters. They are very helpful and sweet who are always to help us when we're in any problem. In their free time, they often come and ask us about our academics and even teach us.

The whole admission process was quite peaceful. Everything was online-based. I enrolled myself and attached my results with my application. My name was there in the first merit list. After some time they called for counseling with my parents.

Faculty members are very helpful. They hold so much information with them, that will definitely help your whole life. They maintain a very friendly and warm atmosphere inside the classroom and for moments we forget that we're in a class. Especially my HOD Prof.Sunanda Ray is the best professor I'll ever have. All the guests faculty are equally well qualified and experienced
