Course Curriculum Overview
Don't know if we are the most unlucky batch because we'll be the last one to move ahead with the old curriculum. Happy to say for the upcoming batches that curriculum is revised & is now quite nice. What we used to study in the 4th sem is already taught in 2nd sem. Hence you know how significant this is.
Placement Experience
Placements & jobs had been really nice in the campus for this department though it has a bit degraded from last year, but is still nice. On campus placements occur, quite renowned companies recruit students. And the college offers summer internship for mainly 2nd year students where the students are involved in research. The stipend goes like 5k a month.
College Events
This college & fests are the two most happening things. Fests & programs keep happening round the year. Sports fest, technical fest, cultural fest all happen in an academic year. But it's quite sad to say that cultural fest has not happened that much nicely for last 2 years due to some national emergency. Still hoping to see our cultural fest.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are so good. Hygiene, food everything is nice. We live in a very lucky hostel that serves the best food out of all the other hostels so far known. The rentals are fine and each sstudent gets a room with single occupancy. Thus is becomes just your own room.
Admission
The admission process is quite common among the engineering students. it's basically through JEE Mains. Once you clear the cutoff your counselling session starts & you can move ahead with all the procedure. Counselling happens through JOSAA. and special round occurs through CSAB.
Faculty
The faculty at least for our department is nice, helpful, knowledged and even experienced. They not only believe in class room study but are always there to teach extra, new advancements. They are actually very interested about the course they teach.
